The Olympic Golf Commercial

To celebrate the return of golf to the Olympics in the 2016 Brazil Games, for the first time after 1904, Omega recently launched the Olympic Golf Commercial which has been shot in different locations around the world. The commercial truly catches the essence of the game and its return to the world of Olympics since it starts with Sergio Garcia, one of Omega’s brand ambassadors, hit the ball and covers its movement throughout the world signifying both the game and the Olympics.

Omega Ladymatic – Nicole Kidman

Tantalizing, enticing, sophisticated with a royal aura, and yet the embodiment of timeless beauty. These are just some of the adjectives that can used to define both, the watch – Omega Ladymatic and the actress – Nicole Kidman. And when they both work together, there is hardly any doubt how the advertisement will turn out. A much acclaimed commercial ad for Omega, Nicole Kidman’s acting hardly seems acting and she just seems to be flowing with the soothing voice and words of the song (sung by Simone White) which leaves the viewer yearning for more.

1996 James Bond Commercial (Goldeneye)

The commercial for the promotion of the first James Bond movie that would be using an Omega definitely served it purpose for both the film and the watchmaker. The commercial that features scenes from Goldeneye and the Omega Seamaster used in it is among the most viewed Omega commercials. It certainly added an air of thrill to both the watch and the movie.

Omega’s tie-up with the James Bond franchise is one of the best example of effective product placement. This tie-up has also given the ad world some of the best Bond ads as well since Omega usually comes up with a Bond ad to promote the films prior to its release. Also over the years, Omega has been the official timekeeper for the Olympics and every recent Olympic games, it has enchanted the world with some of the best commercials.
